Hi, I have a movieclip named MYMOVIE1 and I want to save it as Image (any Format) to a folder named MyTestApp in the SD storage using ActionScript 3? {AIR for ANDROID}
And please tell me if the same way work for iOS... Thanks
Alright this requires 2 steps:
- First render the movieclip to a bitmap:

- Then save it to a file:

I havent tried it myself, but it definitely should. You might be interested in utilizing either File.applicationDirectory
or File.applicationStorageDirectory
to resolve to the correct location, see http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FlashPlatform/reference/actionscript/3/flash/filesystem/File.html
