Problems installing Adobe Air & Adobe Reader X

Have downloaded and tried to install both apps to no avail, i keep getting error messages on both installs.

I have tried installing the windows install cleanup tool and cant find any adobe programs listed....

Adobe Reader X tries to install in ADMIN mode then near end i get the following message:  Error 1402: could not open key: UNKNOWN\components\C37BC6 and a lot more numbers n letters, contact support

AIR 2.6  says : Sorry an error has occured

An error occured while installing Adobe AIR. Installation may not be allowed by your administartor. Please contact them.

I have only 1 account on my PC running w7 and im not sure what to do next to get them to install

Please haelp anyone

That would be a great solution BUT i have tried to remote acsess with a collegue and admin wont allow me too, if wont give me permission too.
