Splash screen?

Does anyone know how to add a splash screen to the android? Adding the Default.png to the flash file in the root directory of the build didn't seem to work. I'm wondering if you need some extra bit of xml to reference it?

No splash screen is used on Android.

Hmmm Short answer. Right, does that mean the usual modus operandi is to include a splash screen at the start of the time sequence like Work_ed mentioned? http://forums.adobe.com/thread/743778?tstart=0

I don't know what is usual, but yes, if you want a splash screen, your code must display it. The runtime or OS don't do it automatically.
