Does Adobe Air support TLS 1.2?

I have an app that is compiled on Air SDK 18 and Apache Flex 4.14.1. It is unable to establish a connection with a web service when TLS 1.0 is disabled on the server side. Any suggestions? The browser connects fine to the service but the AIR app does not.

Even if it doesn't remember that you can also add exceptions in your Info.plist (iPhone Additions) to allow specific connections to certain domains to use 1.1 or other ciphers not allowed by default (and still get your app approved on submission)
