Hi,

When you uninstall AIR you'll see a dialog appear that let's you know which applications on your system are dependent on it.  If you find that you don't use any of those apps then you should be able to uninstall without any negative effects.  If you do see applications that you use, then uninstalling AIR will render those applications non functioning until AIR is reinstalled.

Hope this helps,

Chris

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your reply.

I couldn't wait and I had uninstalled AIR before you replied. I got a message then that said something like, 'progrmas that AIR support won't work.' I have a DVD for Suite and thought I can reinstall if anything happens.

So far I don't have any problem but wanted to reinstall, and inserted DVD. After initial checkup by the preparation part, I see AIR in the group of programs that are already installed. Thus, I cannot select it in Uninstalled programs.

In the meantime, in Control Panel, I don't see AIR but see Adobe Creative Suite 4. Is AIR in here?

BTW, AIR I uninstalled from Control Panel didn't have any size (bites).

Hope you would help me with this mystery.

Winnn

Hi Winn,

I'd recommend reinstalling from the latest version which you can download at: http://get.adobe.com/air

Please let me know if you have any problems installing.

Thanks,

Chris
