Flash Player will be end-of-life at 2020, I have questions!

Hi,

Adobe just published an official blog said Flash Player will be dead at the end of 2020, they encourage content creators to migrate any existing Flash content to those new open formats (HTML5, WebGL and WebAssembly), here is the blog url:

https://blogs.adobe.com/conversations/2017/07/adobe-flash-update.html

As a long time Flash platform developer, I have the following questions:

1. What about AIR? Will Adobe stop updating AIR at the end of 2020 too?

2. Future versions of WebAssembly will support programming languages other than C/C++, so in theory AS3 could be compiled to WebAssembly, will Adobe consider keeping the ActionScript language alive through this way?

3. What will happen after 2020? Will Adobe open source the AVM (ActionScript Virtual Machine)? Or sell it to third party?

Could someone from Adobe answer these questions? Thanks in advance!
