My copy of Adobe Animate appears to have melted down, and now won't open or save documents.

Try to open existing .fla file

- error message "An error occurred opening file "path to file"

- nothing happens, file doesn't open

Try to open existing .xfl file

- file opens

- try to export as html5 canvas

- first error message says "Unable to save the document as "path to file TMP.fla"

- second error message "An error occurred opening file "path to file TMP.fla"

- third error message "A javascript error occurred"

Create a new, empty HTML5 file

- try save as .fla

- error message says "Unable to save the document as "path to file"

Create a new, empty HTML5 file

- try save as .xfl

- document saves

- try to export

- first error message says "Unable to save the document as "path to file TMP.fla"

- second error message "An error occurred opening file "path to file TMP.fla"

- third error message "A javascript error occurred"

I have tried saving to different locations. I have tried opening the TMP backup files that Animate creates. I have tried disconnecting from our network.

I am at a complete standstill and am unable to access several days worth of work. Please fix this Adobe.
