I am having trouble getting Animate CC to run on my laptop. Every time I open it it will reach "Loading document templates" before abruptly closing. I have done everything on the troubleshooting tips to fix Animate CC crash on launch or startup page and none of the methods have worked to me. My laptop meets the minimum system requirements. My laptop also has no issue in installing and running Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC, and Premiere Pro CC.

I use Windows 10 and after deleting part of my fonts it worked again.

I suspect your update version might not be the latest one.

I have just reset my preferences and unfortunately it did not fix my Animate. Do you have any other suggestions I could do?

Do you by any chance have WIndows 10 and lots of fonts? If so keep only 400 fonts active. If you need more add them one at a time and if ANCC starts crashing again remove some fonts again. The Windows 10 newest updates caused a problem and it is a work around for now.

right click the exe>cick 'run as administrator'.

if that fails, suspend any antivirus/antimalware that might be shutting down animate.

Same problem there. I've installed Animate in a new laptop with Win 10, it crashes while opening in "Loading document templates". I've tried all steps from troubleshooting and advices from similar discussions - nothing helps. Then I updated the drivers and Windows to the latest version and now Animate just closing while opening at the same moment.

Seems that Animate is incompatible with Windows 10, doesn't it? Is there anyone who has Animate running succesfully on Windows 10?
