Adobe Animate doesn't play audio unless I am in the SWF preview.

I can't hear audio in the normal Adobe Animate window unless I insert an MP4, I just got my hands on Adobe Animate and am starting with fresh preferences. I followed advice, such as setting my sync to stream, but nothing is seeming to work. When I press the play button in this tab (image below), it stops immediately without playing anything, please help!
