adobe animate installer gets stuck at 5

im trying to install adobe animate and the installer gets stuck at 5%.

ive tryed looking at other questions like this on this website. none of the solutions work. please help.

install the cc desktop app from here https://creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/all/desktop?action=install&source=apps&productId=creative-cloud and use it to install your adobe subscription and trial programs.

if you're using the cc desktop app, what's your os version and what version of animate are you trying to install?
