Adobe animate keeps crashing for no reason

Explorer ,
Jan 13, 2024 Jan 13, 2024

Hello. I have a problem I hope you can help me with. Adobe Animate keeps crashing for no reason, and I don't know how to fix it. It crashes when I import an image to the timeline, create a movie symbol and other times. I don't think it should crash just because of that. Does anyone know what to do? I have tried to turn off/on my Mac btw.

create a keyboard shortcut in animate, if you have none

uninstall animate, including preferences, per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

restart your computer

reinstall animate

confirm you custom shortcut was reset

test is animate crashes with the steps that caused it to crash previously

I said "remove" when I uninstalled Adobe Animate if that's what you mean.
