Adobe animate lagging

I've been having this issue recently. When I copy and paste on stage, timeline or dragging a frame it lag!

I'm wondering if it has something to do with how much work I put inti the file.

Make sure you are using version 20.5

The issue was with 20.5

contact us from Adobe Creative Cloud tried to help me but nothing came out of it. I was so stressed that I just went back to 20.0.3 I'm not sure how to fix this. I never had this problem with older version of the software.

Please clear preferences and re-install Animate v20.5 and check for the issue. If the issue still exists, please share below details,

1. System and drawing tablet specification

2. In v20.5, does this happen every time or is it file specific? If file specific please share a sample file.

3. If possible share a video recording showing the difference in performance between versions.

The tablet I'm using is XP-PEN Artist 13.3 V2
