Adobe Animate Posting Auto Recover files to FileRecovery rather than Appdata

Hello, my animate is successfully creating the auto recovery files for my project (sometimes) but when it does, it doesn't do so to the configuration folder in appdata, it posts them into a file recovery folder on another drive, this is bad because it's constantly at risk of being overwritten, how can i change where it autosaves to?

in general, for win users, open C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Adobe\<animate version>\en_US\Configuration\AutoRecoverFilenames.txt and see if there was a saved file and, if so, check the folder location listed

for mac users, check the folder (for a file with name recover_) where the fla was saved. if the fla wasn't saved, i think you're out of luck, but you can still search your computer for "recover_"

Yeah its just a blank text file. If animate just isn't autosaving though isn't this a major bug?

not really.  if you have auto-recovery enabled and if your time-setting is such that an auto-recovery file should be generated and it's not, that's a minor bug imo.  but there are two if's.

and auto-recovery rarely prevents the problem with corrupt fla's.

users need to frequently save their animate work with increasing version number appended to the file name.  and they need to periodically close and reopen the latest version to confirm it's not corrupt.  then they can delete previous versions.

if it is corrupt, start trying to open previou versions until to find the last uncorrupt version.
