Adobe animate sucks

Don't get me wrong, the software is pretty good compared to others. It's smooth, has good interface, and can make art look real good. While there are a few issues in that department Adobe Animate does a pretty good job with that kind of stuff. But why do I still think the software's bad? It's the crashes and the errors that spoil the app. While everything about Animate sounds good so far, the one issue, the one very big issue I have with it is the whole exporting issue. It's at the most random time Animate decides to corrupt your flash file. In the past 2 months I've lost 3 animations that took forever to finish. And not to mention that stupid message that pops up: "An error oppening file:" As if it expects me to move on so easily. And then there's auto-recovery, P.S: It's not useful. The problem is, it only saves in the same folder as your project and deletes itself once you finally save and close Adobe Animate. They should really look into following the exporting features of a software like Premiere pro. Premiere is so much more efficient with saving and lacks the flaws that Animate has very visible.

I find it funny how such giant companies use this software. The biggest animated shows use Animate yet it's so damn hard to get around it. Adobe is yet to adress such problems and I really hope they can finally see these issues and make an effort to fix them.

prevent this with any app by saving frequently while appending increasing version number appended number to the file name.

you can use a jsfl file to do this automatically with your saves.  periodically close and reopen the latest version.  if that opens without problem, you can delete the previous versions.
