Hi,
So since Adobe made changes on their backend of Friday 3rd of September all our Adobe Flash Pro CS6 users no longer have a permanet license while activing the software using their Adobe CC account.
Instead when you login to activate the software it now says "29days left of Trial" and this is counting down.
This is really bad for us as we still require ActionScript 2, and due to this was provided a legacy installer for Flash Pro CS6 over a year ago and has worked great until now.
We are heavily into development and without this being resolved could have significant impact on our company. Adobe Chat refuse to help/assist because Flash Pro is now Legacy so I hope someone can help here.
Thanks

We managed to get this working with help from our colleagues in Germany.
5. Now it didn't ask for SN, it confirmed activation with login and moved on
I hope this helps others out there as well, might work for other software as well.

I had this problem too; if you log out (click "Not you?" underneath your username) and then log in again it should relicense it.

Hey Harvey
Thanks for your reply, unfortunately we have tried this with CC logged in and out and yet get the same issue.
Everytime we login it just asks for a Serial Number which we do not have as we have always used it with our Adobe CC subscription.
What was your environment like when you logged out and back in again to relicense it.
Was Adobe CC running? If so was you logged in or out?
Are you running CS6 v12.0.0.481 ?
Just want to try replicate your scenario if we can as best as we can.
Thanks
Luke

I had Adobe CC running and logged in, and was running CS6 v12.0.0.481. Also I'm on Windows 10.
To be clear, it's not CC you want to log out of, but the Flash CS6 app.
Maybe try (in Flash CS6) going to Help->Deactivate then logging in again?

Indeed, logging out of Flash not CC.
Just wanted to check what sort of environment parameters you had when reactivating the licence.
Unfortunately in Flash CS6 options deactivate is greyed out.
(See attached image)
I believe this issue is because we dont have a subscription to Flash Pro CS6 - which of course you cant purchase now as its legacy. But we was informed when we told Adobe about the requirement of ActionScript 2 that we could use our Full Adobe CC and Animate licenses for the use of Flash Pro CS6.
Seems like they have changed it now without any warning.

Fireworks users were/are experiencing similar activation issues. There are some possible workaround solutions mentioned in this thread. Perhaps those will work for Flash CS6 as well?

Hey Rayek.Elfin
Unfortunately followed multiple suggestions from the Fireworks users and still getting the same issue.
Constantly being asked for a serial key even when logged into CC.
We did have one user that his Flash Pro CS6 stopped opening completely, not even asking for the key so we renamed the OOBE folder to .old in : C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
Then reinstalled Flash Pro CS6 and now his reports an error "see attached image" but loads fine without asking for a serial key or login info.
But we are unable to replicate this with any other user as of yet.
