In the latest update, the "Paint Fills Only" mode is not working correctly.
The first stroke is fine, but then my the application freezes while it thinks about it. It unfreezes several seconds later, but as you might guess, this pretty much prevents me from using this mode.
Anyone else aware/experiencing this issue?
It works on my end (macOS Monterey) but yeah there's a noticeable 1 second delay as the application makes it's calculations. What are your system specs?
I'm not running an amazingly fast machine:
PC Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8565U CPU @ 1.80GHz, 1992 Mhz, 4 Core(s)
16 GB ram
But I now realize that the slowness of "paint only fills" is not my problem (although it is slow)
The problem is that in 22.0 "paint normal" now overwrites lines. I checked 21.0.9 - in this version "Paint Normal" does not overwrite lines. This change lead me to think I was using "paint fills only", sorry for the confusion.
Is there a toggle in 22.0 to prevent brush overwriting lines?
Until this behavior is changed, I will use 21.0.9 as a workaround.
Actually, even 21.0.9 is acting the same... I don't know which version started this change.
Can you please share a short screen recording of the issue. This will hep us identify the exact issue you are facing.
