Participant ,

hi, I've read of a few problems with the current version of Aniamte on machines running Sequoia.

I see Animate is not in the list of compatilbe apps yet. Is there an inking of when the update might be released?

At this stage Animate seems to have been abandoned by Adobe.

Read this thread to get an idea of the present situation: https://community.adobe.com/t5/animate-discussions/animate-2025/m-p/14914790#M378610

I thik we all have had that creeping feeling for a while. A long while. If they really discontinue it, it's a matter of just a few Op Systems  away for it to become completely unusable.  In fact, if the frequent crashes I read about Animate and MacOs Sequoia are an indication, it may already be a scrap-app (I hope Windows users are not there yet).

I actually looked this up to check wehter I should update to Sequoia myself.

I have no need to (the last OpSyst is still being updated), so in fact I won't.

Until I'll have to...

EDIT:

Just read the whole six pages of the thread you linked... it looks even gloomier than I imagined :(((

Yes, I'm sorry that I was the one to let you know about this situation.

Just thought it would be best for you to go through the whole thread to really form your own opinion.

If you rely on Animate for work you'd better refrain from updating your Mac OS for now.

Good luck with your projects!
