Animate Assets Panel is Empty

I'm new to Animate and while watching the tutorials I discovered that my Assets panel is totally blank. There is no info displayed whatsover, just a blank panel. I'm using the newest version, 23.

Any idea what's going on?

it can take a while for them to all load, but it looks like you have more than that going on.  but check again anyway just to make sure.

do you fail to see the default and custom tabs?

I've had the program for a few weeks and no the panel is completely blank so no default or custom. 

Now when I went to Window > Assets, it must have refreshed and everything loaded! I was using the Essentials workspace.

yes. it was probably loading when you first opened it.  and when you triggered a refresh, the assets were revealed.

typically, closing and then reopening animate is a surer way to trigger a refresh.
