I am a character designer. I am facing problem with my animate 2023 application. Whenever I create a character using brush tool it starts lagging specially , when i work on the hairs and beard of that character. It is effecting my work productivity. Kindly Help.

Maybe the shapes that you create have too many vector points and are too heavy for your CPU.
You should think how you can optimize your designs.
If you absolutely must use very complex shapes and there is no possibility to simplify them, then you can temporarily duplicate those offending bits and convert the duplicates to bitmap, while guiding the original layers.
Then work with these placeholders until time comes for final export.

When you say "the brush tool" do you mean the Paint Brush Tool or the Classic/Fluid Brush? The main difference is that the first paints with strokes and the second paints with fills. Strokes are way heavier for the program to process so if your character is made out of strokes, convert these to fills and the performance should improve (Modify > Shape > Convert Lines to Fills).

I am using classic brush Tool which paints with fills with object mode on. My system configuration is good comparing to Animate 2023 requirement.If Is there any setting in the software which I am missing. Which can help me out.

Then perhaps too many drawing objects on stage. Flatten the drawing objects and break them apart with Ctrl+B.
