Animate not allowing my cursor on screen.

Community Beginner ,

for some reason after windows just updated any time I go to draw in animate with my tablet the cursor refuses to hover over the animate window. if I have the animate window de-selected it will hover over it but the moment I click the window, the mouse drops to the bottom of the screen and i can't do anything with it. it's not the tablet, I have checked all my other programs and animate is the only one having this problem. any help with this would be appreciated.

check other threads in this forum for tablet issues and solutions.

if none of those work for you, using a browser that allows popups and cookies,  contact adobe support during pst business hours by clicking here and, when available, click 'chat', http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/service-ccm.html

hi,

first update or reinstall your tablet drivers.

if that fails, reset your animate preferences*

* remove  C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Adobe\Animate CC 2017\ and

                C\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Animate\2017\
