Hi, I'm in the middle of making my next comedy vid and am running into an issue i noticed in a previous video. I'm trying to warp a bitmap image to give it the appearance of being on the surface of an uneven pillow, but when I click distort and try to warp it it only cuts off part of the image or shows me more of it arranged like a checker board. In the last video I gave up and used the asset warp tool, to mixed results. This time i'd like to know exactly why this happens? Also it acts as a fill, instead of the fill being a color when I click on the image.
What is causing this?

When you brake apart an image with Ctrl+B you turn it into a bitmap fill and so it behaves as such.
The Distort mode of the Free Transform tool only works with raw vectors, not bitmaps.
You could A) Convert the image to vector at the expense of losing some detail. B) Use the asset warp tool as deformations is the tool's main purpose or C) Edit the image using Photoshop or another image editing program and then import the result into Animate.

are you simply trying to apply the warp tool to a bitmap image? (which should work)
