Cache Buster Bug in Animate HTML5 publishing

Explorer ,
Jan 03, 2020 Jan 03, 2020

Is anyone else experiencing a bug where the cachebuster no longer works in local preview?

eg: http://127.0.0.1:8090/index.html?52337879 will keep serving the last published version of your file until you SHIFT+REFRESH (clear cache)?

I'm guessing the code that was in there only worked until 12/31/2019 11:59:59?

This is happening for my whole team, both Mac and PC.

Having the same problem here when I don't overwrite the HTML file on publishing.

That's good to know. I'll look at how they're modifying their HTML.

Still not ideal considering we use a custom template.

We got around it by adding our own cache-buster that only runs when localhost is detected.

This only happens in the 2020 release.  I filed a bugreport meanwhile.

Feel free to share your cache-buster 😉
