Can't find how to click and go to next scene

Hello, question. I made 3 keyframes and got a looping nest in each frame. Now I would like to start with frame 1 looping untill you click an object and go to frame 2 which wil start looping and continue till I click another object again to go back to frame 1 (or frame 3). 

My question is, do I make the clickable object in the scene mode or do I go one stage deeper and use actioncode in there? And what would be the correct code(s)? Hope this is clear enough, otherwise let me know and I trie and specifie.

Oke, from what I see is my problem my mac pro. Don't understand why, but when I play your file on my friends Window laptop its working. Cant seem to Control -> Test movie in my version which is strange but it is what it is. Again thank you very much for your time! Helped me on my way, I think enough to figure the rest out for myself.

you could use the previous animate version to see if that lets you test in animate.

Goodmorning again. Installed Animate on my previous Macbook and seems to work. Can I ask you for a big big favor? The file you send me is working, so now trying to do as you did for the rest of te works, but I've been trying my best for the last 3 hours and I'm only making things worse. Would it take you alot of work to just add the buttons I need to make it work so I can tweek them further to look nice in my Scene? To start in frame 1, then click on either the blue light to go to frame 2 or the walkie talkie to go to frame 3? I know a lot to ask for, but I'm slowly losing it on this side 😞   No is also an answer, no problems in that case! Greets Frank

note: in animate canvas the first frame is frame 0, the 2nd frame is frame 1 etc.  you'll understand the object and function naming better if you keep that in mind.

Thanks a million times! Think I should've started with a little less to get to know the program better. If I click the porto now it comes up, perfect! I see the siren is clickable but doesnt work, but might also be because of my version. I'll test with other students when on school again. Many thanks and also your last scentence makes a lot clear, frame one is frame zero... Who thinks of that??!? Again, thank you! 🙏

if you change what's on stage in the 1st and 2nd frames (frames 0 and 1), you should be able to see the blue light/siren working, too.

Ah oke, again, I am going to find a student to help me with your last comment. Will figure it out! And then start the course again step by step. Thing is they give us assignments and let us figure out ourselves how to make it all happen. Not the best way to trie and learn new software...

i often start a new fla to test particular bits and pieces of something i'm working on.
