Cant get Static Text To Work

So I recently upgraded to Flash CC 2015, but it is not on Static Text.

I use Flash to ANIMATE, not to CODE.

I can't switch to Static text, nor can I switch to Input Text.

I just can't. It is disabled.

CAN SOMEONE HELP???

If you are making an animation, set the FLA type to ActionScript 3.0. It has several nicer things about it than HTML5 Canvas does.

Now Static Text works, and Input Texts as well! I also got some missing features fixed like the 3D Rotation Tool.
