Cant scroll Background

Following "storkw/ Baby" tutorial. last step: scroll background across stage. followed all steps, then when instructed to "create tween", all that's avail is "insert tween", which dont work. is it me, instruction, or SW?

please help a newby...

You'll need a keyframe on that last frame after moving the background before you can make a classic tween.

If Auto Insert Keyframe isn't enabled, then you'll either need to enable it or add a keyframe on the last frame for the background layer, Layer_1.

To enable Auto Insert Keyframe, go to the Timeline. It's above the layers and looks like a light gray square with a dark gray circle in the middle and an A in the upper right. Depending on your workspace, you may need to select it from between the Step forward and Step backward buttons, < and >.

If you want to manually add a keyframe to that last frame, move the background and go to Insert > Timeline > Keyframe.

After carefully watching the tutorial. Myra Ferguson has got the right idea.

It appears to Stork Carrying a Baby, one of the in-app Hands-on tutorials. If you click on Learn (below Home) when you open Animate, you should see it.
