I recently switched computers (from one with XP to one with 8/10) and installed Flash CS5 on the new one, the same as the old one had, and I'm running into "You cannot debug this SWF because it does not contain ActionScript." If I debug, that's what I get, otherwise I just get the swf without any actionscript. I've tried everything I can think of or could find including increasing the memory well past what the old PC was capable of, updating Flash, updating Windows, separating the largest sections of script into separate files, checking/unchecking every option in the publish settings, and saving as xfl or a cs4 file.
Thank you for the suggestion. That is one I hadn't seen before. It didn't help, and the log includes a message that DB does not exist at (location).
However downloading CS5.5 helped as when it came up with the same error it also popped up a message with the location of the jvm.ini file. Apparently there's two and I needed to change the one at C:\Users\(user name)\AppData\Local\Adobe\Flash CS5\en_US\Configuration\ActionScript 3.0 instead of C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Flash CS5\Common\First

if that swf works on other computers, uninstall your flash pro, clean per Use the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems, restart your computer and reinstall flash pro.
