Hi. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. (Feel free to move it if needed)
I'm running the CS6 suite, and was wanting to install the Toolkit For CreateJS for Flash (to get HTML5 export).
But, when I run it, I get an error message saying that it conflicts with (if I'm reading this right) an existing item already in FlashCS6 called Adobe Flash Professional Toolkit for CreateJS. So, it SEEMS like (for whatever reason) it is already installed (or something very similar).
However, if I run Flash, and go into the menu area for HTML5 export (under Window > Other Panels), the expected HTML5 export item is not there (as it is in the tutorial videos). So, even though the toolkit MAY be installed already, the HTML5 export part isn't.
I tried looking into the folders, seeing if there was an obvious extensions folder, but it's a bit too cryptic.
Anyone familiar with this conflict error and/or the plugin, who can help me out here?
(BTW, I have to get this to work for CS6, so please do not just suggest I get Flash CC)

Thanks for the reply. Yes, you are right, I did find it there (...the plugin instructions show it as being within the Other Panels menu).
Okay, but I'm still not understanding how you do an HTML5 export, which was the whole point of me trying to install that toolkit (which appears to already be installed).
Does this preloaded toolkit give you the ability to do HTML5 exports, or is this something unique to the Toolkit For CreateJS that I was trying to install?
As well, when I click the menu item you pointed out, it launches to an Adobe page that apparently no longer exists.

again, use it's commands>publish for createjs, to publish or create an html5 app. (or use the publish button on the toolkit panel.)

Hi, kglad. Sorry, I didn't notice that note under the screengrab. My bad.
Okay, well, I'm still confused... I don't appear to have 'Publish for CreateJS' in my commands menu (...you mean the main Commands menu at the top of the Flash interface, right?)
I'd try the toolbar, but again, when I click on the Toolkit for CreateJS menu item under the Window menu, it launches to a seemingly non-existant Adobe page... so, I can't seem to try that option.
Am I looking in the wrong spot?

Try the Download option on the right side of this page:
CreateJS Developer Center | Adobe Developer Connection
When you double click on Toolkit_for_CreateJS_v1_2.zxp file you should see the extensions manager. It will complain about a conflict, you can say to remove the existing one.
The hope is that the current one you have is missing some parts, and replacing it may fix things.

Hi, Colin. Ya, I had already grabbed the Toolkit for CreateJS 1.2 from some (legit) site, after reading an article about how to get HTML5 export in Flash CS6. When I tried installing it (via the extension manager), it (like you say) gave me a 'conflict' error (before actually installing it), saying something to the effect of 'this will conflict with the following plugins'... and it appeared that the same named plugin was already installed. From what I see, it's already part of Flash CS6, so I was confused by why it would be needed to be installed.
From what I understood, installing this new toolkit would replace the existing/vanilla/preloaded one... and that scared me, as I wasn't even sure about whether this new plugin I got was even correct (or would work), and didn't want to risk messing up the existing/vanilla one.
I even tried looking for an obvious folder/file of the vanilla toolkit that was seemingly already installed, so I could make a backup copy before installing the other one, but it was too cryptic for me to figure out. I guess I could back up the entire Flash folder, although I'm not sure if installing the toolkit will create some registry items.
I'm running CS6 12.0.2.529.
The Toolkit for CreateJS menu item is present in the Windows menu, but launches a non-existant Adobe page (...and, I unfortunately can't see what URL it was trying to do, since it jumps immediately to the error page).
No Publish for CreateJS menu item in my Commands menu.
I'm not too familiar with this aspect of Flash, so it's a bit intimidating and confusing for me. I don't want to mess anything up.
Is is absolutely safe to have the installer remove the existing toolkit that is part of vanilla Flash CS6? (I'll grab the version from the site you linked to. Seems the exact same file I got, but I'll try this one. Mine 'worked', but I always stopped at the 'conflict' part...)
