Deactive parenting animation

Hi

I use parenting animation method for animating. Sometimes I want move body of chatracter without linkage. Is it possible deactive parenting layers for some works and active again?

i'm not sure what you're trying to do but if you want two slightly different symbols, duplicate one and edit the duplicated one to make the slight (or not so slight) changes.

Hi mate,

No, there is no option for on-the-fly unparenting in the current implementation of Layer Parenting.

I have reported this as a deal-breaker to the dev team a couple of months ago.

The whole system is very immature at this stage and only good for testing. It's not fit for work.
