Animate (and Flash Pro before it) has long shipped with the ActionScript 3.0 user interface components in the `fl.controls` package. With Flash Player discontinued, and AIR becoming less relevant for Animate going forward, I wonder if you'd consider releasing the source code for these components on GitHub under an open source license?
To be clear, I'm talking about the AS3 component source code in this directory included with Animate:
$(AppConfig)/Component Source/ActionScript 3.0/User Interface
I am a long-time ActionScript and Flash developer who started with AS2 and Flash Pro MX 2004 roughly 20 years ago. Lately, I've been feeling particularly nostalgic and trying to archive some old content (like tutorials, documentation, and open source code) from the Adobe and the old Flash community, scouring the WayBack Machine on archive.org for things that have been lost. I think that Flash has a certain significance in the history of technology, and it's worth keeping a record of. The AS3 user interface components bundled with Animate are among those things that are worth saving as part of the record.
Thank you for your consideration! And thank you for 20 years of memories with Flash and Animate.

that's a stretch, but
for applicable apps, use https://helpx.adobe.com/ie/x-productkb/global/how-to-user-voice.html
for others, use https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html

Hi.
I think any initiative to preserve Flash's legendary legacy is a great idea, Josh.
