Distorted Audio

Whenever I bring an audio file from audition into animate cc it always sounds muffled and distorted. The original sound file sounds fine in audition cc and premier cc, even when emailed to another individual from these two locations. Although, as soon as the audio enters animate cc, everything become distorted as if I recorded my audio with the cheapest mic. Is there something that I'm missing, some audio settings in animate cc maybe?

Exactly what sample rate and bit depth is the audio file?

Sample rate = 48000 Hz

Bit depth = 32-bit (float)

Wow. Yeah, no wonder Animate is having trouble with that.

Convert that down to 44kHz 16bit.
