Hello, I am having trouble making my character rig, I already have each symbol ready but for some reason every time I try to edapt the symbols to use the rigging tool that is in the edaptools on animate it will not allow me to. I feel like there might be one small mistake that Im not seeing myself that is making it so the software isnt able to do it correctly. Please give it a look. Attached is the file. Thank you in advance. Link to file since I can't post the fla files here:

Found the fix. the student had instances of the body part symbols. So we had to delete instances, select the shapes, break apart, flip the shape, then create a new symbol. The tools won't rig instances from what I can tell.

Hi @Tgibs2 ,
Thanks for providing the file!
The real reason for the FreeStyle Rigging to refuse to work is that there is a stray symbol on layer left_ankle which does not have matching Registration and Transformation points.
The content of this symbol is way outside of the stage:
All that you need to do to fix the setup and start rigging is to delete this unnecessary forgotten symbol or at least include it in the selection and fix the position of its Transformation Point with Make Edaptable or any other of the available tools.
The assumption that flipped instances were causing the problem is incorrect. You can rig instances as much as you like.
I don't mind replying to EDAPT-related questions here, but in the future, if you like, please feel free to post on our website or email us directly, using the address above the contact form.
Good luck!

Thank you so much for responding. I marked the answer as correct, but I can't undo it and the student still is having issues. As I stated before in previous posts, our school has blocked the website, but I will definitely email questions in the future. I'm still quite unfamiliar with what each tool does exactly, so trying to fix problems at this stage is tough. I will attempt your instructions and if I have more issues, I'll email. Thank you again.
