Embedding OLE objects is unsupported. Use File ->Import to import media. Error When pressing distribute to layers of a Character

I was making a 2d character for animation but after making individual instances of character like leg arm head.. after this when I selected whole character and press distribute to layers option it shows me an error - (Embedding OLE objects is unsupported. Use File ->Import to import media) HELP ME.

that looks like a jsfl error that you're not going to be able to correct directly.

you should manually cut and paste about 1/2 your shapes/bitmaps to another layer.  save with a new name (eg, _v001). then try distributing each layer.

continue this way to isolate the problematic shape/bitmap and then just do that one manually.  make sure to save each successful cut/paste with a new name because you may end of crashing cs6 and corrupting the fla with which you're working.

if you don't understand the above, what's on the layer (eg, shapes, symbol instances, bitmaps, sounds) that's causing the problem?  is there a large number (eg, 30+) of any of those?

I had the same error occer when I tried to import audio to my library in adobe animate. Do you have fix for that?
