when I zipped my project into a zip folder to send, and then try opening the file, I get the two above listed errors. The project works just fine when using it from my desktop. Any help would be great!

My guess is that you have a couple of files that are being used by your swf and they are not being found - check for all file loading and make sure the file are planted in the proper folders..
