Exporting animated banners other than flash

HI,

I used to make animated banners in flash.

They had revolving images and each image has a link.

Now my client complains that they don't work on many browsers because they don't support flash anymore.

I can open the banners in Animate but I can't seem to find any way of saving or exporting it to a different format other than flash.

Yes there are other option but they don't support the links.

What format am I looking for (html5?) and how do I export or save my banners to that format.

Thank you

Richard

    yes, html5/canvas.

open in animate>click commands>convert to other document formats.  then you can start working because no actionscript will be converted for you

    Dear kglad,

This might sound stupid. But how do I get working? Could you possibly help me how can I get the action scripts to work in html 5?

    Any help is highly appreciated.

you can't use actionscript with html5.  you have to use javascript and/or the supported createjs library, CreateJS | A suite of JavaScript libraries and tools designed for working with HTML5

if you don't have the background in javascript/createjs and you don't have an interest in learning it, you can hire me to do it for you.  but i recommend you, at least, try it to see if you can manage it on your own.

Thank you very much for the info. I will have a look at it. Not the slightest idea about Java script. If it turns out that it is beyond my capabilities I'll might take you up on your offer. Assuming the client pays for it.

There are three banners I need to change. Now the client changes the content of those banners periodically as well.

    Let's see,

    Thank you very much :-)
