Exporting with masks not working

New Here ,
Feb 03, 2018 Feb 03, 2018

Hello, I did an animation and now I want to export it but it's not working. Everytime when I export the animation the masked parts are invisible (don't understand me wrong I know what a mask is and how they work) but if I go through the timeline everything works how it should.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks in advance

the animation:

Took me longer than it should to reply, I was sat enjoying the animation!

It was tricky to track down what was wrong, but for some reason your "Animation" symbol as a Graphic doesn't do the masking. Change it on stage, in Properties, to be MovieClip. Then it all works.

Text is the masking layer and nothing in that layer ever overlies the masked layer (Ebene 5).  so what you're seeing (nothing in Ebene 5) is expected.

there's a Text layer that contains the mask.

Ah, you meant the layer named Text. It does contain something, but it only seems to mask correctly as a MovieClip, and not as a Graphic.
