Flash Developer Needed

Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good Flash Actionscript 3 Developer, or know where I can find one??

It's for an approx months freelance work to build our website which has become much too complicated for my basic knowledge of Flash.

Design work not essential, but must be excellent at actionscript code to work with live webcams and chat rooms.

Hi,

I went to the link kglad.com and after entering the flash intro came to a blank page with only the name at the top. My internet is extremely slow, I presume this is a flash page waiting to load, so I left the page open, after 20 mins when I went back to it, still nothing had loaded.

I hope this information can help you in future,

if you have an erratic connection, reloading will eliminate the problem with the site loading.

Kglad's site works just fine (always has). The fact that "The Feldkircher" posted twice with the same response is perhaps a strong indication of a connection issue. -I.E. his reply action was taking too long so he hit the submission button twice.

BTW Feldkircher - Kglad KNOWS his stuff and he proves it -consistently. He is one of the masters in this forum. So instead of "smarting off" like some fresh Flash n00b, you should quietly pull up a chair and learn from the man.

thanks. i've heard from a few people that nothing loads.

rarely, i've gone to my site and nothing loads. i hit reload and everything appears and works fine. then i clear my cache and cannot reproduce the problem.

so, like all sporadic problems, it's difficult to debug and may be a server issue and not a coding issue. that server (yahoo) does have some known problems.

I wouldn't say I am a fan, but I see him in here day after day posting great answers to people's questions. He has answered my questions from time to time as well. Kglad has insight and he is consistent, reliable and fast with his answers. Before you bust on him, it seems like you might want to consider respecting his extensive knowledge and cooperation in assisting others. That was one point.

My other point was not as apparent as I chose to make it more subliminal; and perhaps less embarrasing for you. However, it seems to have gone over your head. So I will make it more clear. Judging by YOUR website and YOUR apparent skill-set, you have no absolutely NO ground to stand on when acting with arrogance to someone who has humbly proven themselves, time and again, in this forum.

If you are going to submit such posts as the ones in this thread, you would gain far more credibility if you remove the link to your website. Because...er...you need more practice in Flash.

What proof is this you write of? What projects of mine are you using to make this assessment of me? As far as I know, I haven't posted any links. It is a silly argument as you have no clue what I do or have done. My work isn't always the best and I could stand to study more. I will admit that. However you have shown your cards and I have seen your best work and in my estimation you need to pay attention more than you need to be shooting the professor with stupid remarks.

I totally disagree with bnailWedge on Feldkircher's website.

I think it is an awesome border line genius creation.

First of all, I really enjoy fifth grade school project sophistication. It usually comes from adolescent nightmares in combination with untamed testosterone storms. Very impressive!

The introduction is just out of this world. Especially I am fascinated with the sequence when the thing drops and .org folds down. It reminds me of dropping semen and what happens afterward. So nostalgic …

You cannot beat the richness of the imagery on the main navigation. It is so uniformly plain and so imaginative I am considering to become a monk.

My favorite is this bulky self-portrait that looks like a mixture of dying 50th TV set and cheap cologne bottle. The impression is so unique and original that it is no surprise this pearl is used all over the net. I always wanted to know who was this mysterious descendant of Leonardo. Thank you Feldkircher for this timeless gift!

And how this character moves!!! I was sitting for hours rolling my mouse over and out observing supernatural intricacies and complexity of this process. A to B. B to A. A to B… This is what some people call nirvana. Who cares about kgald’s sinuses, tangencies and other 3D BS?!

Speaking of timeless. Since the site was not updated from 2007 we can safely assume it will be as lasting as Mona Lisa. I hope Louver has reserved a spot in the hi-tech wing right below the pyramid.

Don't pass on the bubble in the blog button. It takes years to master strokes so that they flow from thick blue into the thin blue seamlessly. There is strength in imperfection.

I really appreciate the fact that only one link from the projects works on MAC – songwriters. I urge you all to see these projects. They are so courageous!
