Hi.
Our web application started to perform very poor on latest iMac with retina display.
OS: Windows 8
Flash player version: 19.0.0.226
Browser: Google Chrome, version: 46.0.2490.71
At first it was slow in Chrome on all computers we checked when user sets up the browser scale as not 100%.
We've set browser zoom mode to noscale (browserzoom: 'noscale') in swfobject params in wrapper to prevent browser scaling issues. So the problem is not in browser scaling,
But on iMac retina flash still performs slow. And in fullscreen mode it's about 5-10 fps when I start dragging the ingame screen (iMac resolution is 3840 x 2160). At the same time it runs fast (stable 30 fps) on much slower computers with "intel core i3-2120 3.30 Ghz" assembled more than 5 years ago with 1920 x 1080 resolution.
We've found that on that iMac Stage.contentsScaleFactor is set to 1.5
We bellieve that this coulb be a problem in our case. Can we somehow disable it content scaling for retina or set it to 2 to check if it's a problem.
Or may be someone faced the problem and fixed it. Would be nice to hear a solution for our case.
Thanks.
