I need to install a plugin for exporting a spritesheet. It's not a problem on Windows, but on mac that folder simple doesn't exist.

Install

  • Copy to your Flash/Animate plugins folder
    • Windows: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Animate CC 2017\Common\Configuration\Sprite Sheet Plugins
    • Mac: /Users/userName/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Animate CC 20/ Configu17/Commonration/Sprite Sheet Plugins
  • It is fine to replace the old exporter
  • Restart Flash/Animate

Hi.

Do you have a folder called /Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Animate CC 17?

Or do you have different versions of Animate in each OS?

Please let us know.

Regards,

JC

It's a handwritten plugin to export spritesheets to the game engine. The information about where to locate that plugin was in the readme file, I just copied it.

My colleagues can easely install in on Windows, but for Mac I struggle.
