Are there any suggestions for simulating the sound of a spinning game show wheel?
I have a spinning wheel tween animation. The tween uses easing so that spinning slows to a stop. It's a challenge to match a sound with that - you just can't loop a sound at a fixed interval and have it be realistic. I tried placing hit test objects around the edge of the wheel that would fire off an embedded, short "tick" sound when hit. Problem is the sound only fires once. Another thought is to fire off the sound based on the wheel rotation angle - each time the wheel is at a certain angle the sound is fired off.
Has anyone done this? Suggestions are appreciated!
