Help! Could not load scene into memory. Your document may be damaged. .xfl file

Hi i worked a long time on a project. It's an .xfl. I saved and shut my computer down. Then I updated it and all of a sudden this pops up and my projects gone.

I tried restarting my PC, uninstalling and reinstalling animate, and opening the project on the older version i made the project on. I don't know where to go. I kind of suck at this kind of troubleshooty stuff

I am guessing that your XFL file is corrupted. Am not sure how one could correct that. Am not sure if this is of much help, but have a look at this discussion to see if you can gain any insights.
