Hiccup problem with Wacom Tablet in Adobe Animate

I have the Wacom intuos and I have a problem that I've seen being asked around before, but the solutions didnt work for me. When I make an initial stroke it hiccups and doesnt register the beginning of my stroke, then essentially fills in the space it hiccuped with a straight line. So trying to draw a circle would make you have a flat chunk in it. I also use Photoshop and I don't have this problem there.

All my software and drivers for both Adobe and Wacom are up to date and I can't figure out how to fix this. Its incredibly frustrating to draw with this problem.
