How can i make the text glow exactly like in the video. in flash 8 or after effects.

Hello so i attached a video. does anyone knows how can i make the text glow exactly like in the video? i kinda had trouble with that. in flash8 or after effects.

Make a dark background and put the text on a new layer on top, convert the text to MovieClip, make a copy of the text layer and put it above the original, go to the properties and add a 'Glow' filter and set the Blending mode to "Add".

I know the screenshot is from Animate but this should work on Flash 8.

Hi.

 

Conver the text field to a Movie Clip symbol instance and apply filters like Glow and Adjust Color, among others, as needed.

You may also need to do some manual tweaks in the text field when switching states by breaking it apart and editing the resulting shapes.
