How can I set a shortkey for lasso tool only. CC Animate

I have removed polygon lasso and magic wand all together from shortkey settings, but it still keeps selecting them whenever I use my shortkey for lasso tool. I can specify a shortkey for the subtools only, but not able to do the same for lasso tool.

Using the latest version of cc animate.

If you leave Lasso as L, it will continue to shuffle through the three tools under the Lasso button thing.

You can change it to a unique setting like W and disable the 3D Rotate, that's what W is for me. If you do that you can press W as many times as you want and it will stay as the Lasso tool. I don't really find a use for the others, not enough to make a shortcut for at least. But if you want them to have their own shortcut too you can just do what you did with the Lasso tool.

EDIT okay i lied, changing the Lasso tool is like changing the parent tool, the Lasso shortcut will always shuffle the tools on mac. Looks like it cant be done yet, sorry mate.

It does seem to be that whatever key you set for Lasso is used to cycle through the three tools. I couldn't find a way to have a key that only selected Lasso.

for me, it selects the last lasso tool chosen. so, it always stays the lasso tool (unless i opt for one of the other two lasso tools).

The Wand tool is sometimes very handy. I don't use the polygon lasso much. But in any case, the issue would be that someone who accidentally presses the key a second time, or they didn't notice that they were already on the lasso tool, will have to press the key another two times to get the one they wanted. It ought to be possible to set a key that works as well as the L for Wand does.
