There seems to be no way to gradually increase (or decrease) the size of a bone rigged character as it is walking along through a scene. For example, I want my character to walk along a path that leads from the background to the foreground of a scene. The usual methods (of gradually scaling an object) are not working.

make, whatever you want to gradually scale, a movieclip or graphic symbol. then scale/tween that symbol.

Okay. So there is no way to simply scale the rigged character on the main timeline?

you can, but it's likely the break something.
