Hey Guys I just started Animate CC and I use DBZ Sprites for animation however when I try to get two images on one frame it won't work the frame I want to use with the original frame just copies over the original and I don't know why. I searched up many tutorials, but none of them refer on how to make two characters on one frame which makes it extremely hard. If you have any information on how to add to sprites on one frame please let me know.Adobe Animate CC - General

The program isn't going to automagically know to move one of your characters to the new layer. New layers are empty by default. You have to select the layer, then paste what you want into it.
Though it sounds like what you really need to do is just stop what you're doing and watch a few tutorials on the basics of working with Flash/Animate. Like maybe this one: How To Animate in Flash CS6 & CC | Tutorial for Beginners - YouTube

i'm not sure what problem you're having but create a layer (and frames/keyframes) for each character and retry.

Well whenever I would press the button to add a new layer the same character would be in the layer and when I would import the separate sprite it would basically take the place of the original sprite but they would not be on the same image. I'm out right now but I'll make a gif to show it's not working. And my specific problem
