How to animate a confetti cannon

i wand to do something similar on animate like the sample youtube video below. any guidance would be helpful esp how to make shoot out like that.

Hi Daniel,

Best option IMO for this would be to use two particle emitters for the confetti. One for the side confetti particle emitters and another for the particle confetti falling.

Been using Flash/Animate for 18 years. : )
