how to recover a replaced file?

Hello, I just recently started using Adobe animate and accidentally named two files the same and replaced one of them, i had both saved like that and I'm wondering if it is possible to recover the replaced one as it have been auto-saving before my mistake?

not likely, but you could try some file recovery apps.  some may be able to recover some of your work.

and in the future, save your files with increasing version number appended to the file name.
