Hey,
I downloaded Animate CC as a trial on my HP Spectre x360 15" and wanted to try animation. However the pen doesn't seem to act like it should.
When I put the pen on the canvas it first draws a dot where it makes contact and then it waits until I move the pen far enough away from that initial contact point to continue the line. This means that every line I draw starts with a straight part of about 5 mm to 1 cm where I don't have any control over it. At first I thought the problem would be related to the pen settings regarding the press and hold = right click feature, but disabling this didn't do anything for me.
I have re-installed drivers for the pen and I have tried getting my hands on older versions of animate (flash cs3/cs6 etc) and all these programs seem to have the same problem. The problem however doesn't come up in Photoshop or Illustrator.
I really hope someone can help me figure this out, I really looked forward to all the exciting new features Animate brings to the table and I thought my Spectre would be perfect for this type of thing.

This doesn't seem to fix it unfortunately. Thanks for the input!
Any other suggestions? People with the same problem?

Unfortunately this seems to be a problem with all Wacom AES and other active pen tablet pcs in Animate CC. The only ones without this problem are the EMR laptops like the Samsungs and the wacom tablets. Hoping for a fix someday.
