Today I tried to connect to my swf content in the web and instead to use the file on the web it start a download and I can use only a part of application becouse a loto of part of applications remains on the web, in other word nothing work!
I use macBook Pro with Sierra os,
the browser is Chrome.
Do you know why?
Thanks.
Thank you Colin for you reply,
In the meantime I solved the problem.
Although before to ask help here the I have seen that the setting of the plugin for flash was right (in the extensions the plug in was enebled), in this case you need to write in the bar of the address:
chrome://plugins
and select enable flash plug in, insteed it was enabled as i have said before.
This solved my problem.
I remember this was happened to me some time ago apparently without any reasons.
Thank you again.

See this discussion. It could be that there is a mime issue:
google chrome - Flash files (.swf) prompts for download instead of opening - Super User

Thanks for reporting back. I was going to suggest that you check the plugin was enabled, but was quite sure that you had previously been using Flash content ok. Anyway, glad you figured it out.
