Question

Images dont show when put into a sub-directory

Hello all. I have a problem with my animate files. The files work locally, and also when I upload to the root of the server ( www.example.com ). When I upload to a sub directory ( www.example.com/portfolio ) , the .png files in my animate file dont display. They only display when in the root. Is there somehwere in the.js file that I can specify a new path to the images,  if you know what I am saying? Is this a relative vs. absolute path problem? How do I get around this?

Hey there. I did. So, this is in the root of the directory. I have an imdex.html, main.js and my images file. https://isuzu-wheel.livetestground.co.za/

This is what happens when I try upload the same files into a sub-directory, images just disapear. Its happened to a couple projects. I dont want to have to create a sub-domain for eachone of my projects, just get them into a portfolio directory, and inside they just sit in a project name. So weird man. It happened the other day again , with a HTML5  project. Works in the root , https://fnb-roadshow.livetestground.co.za/

Just not in a sub-directory. The images inside each slice and the logo in the middle dont show up.

they paths are relative.

did you upload your html, js and images folder to your portfolio subdirectory?

if so, post a link to your url.
